The Treasure Coast

 

The Treasure Coast is a region of the State of Florida located on the Atlantic Coast, centrally located between Orlando and West Palm Beach. The region, whose name refers to the Spanish Treasure Fleet lost in a 1715 hurricane, is historically and culturally diverse and offers something fun for the whole family!
 
The Treasure Coast is home to 3 communities listed among the 'Top 100 Affordable Places to Retire' (Richhabits.net, 2011) which indicates that Stuart (#33), Sebastian (#34) and Fort Pierce (#62) proximities to the coastline, low crime rates and affordable housing as some of the many desirable qualities our area has to offer! 
 
The Treasure Coast is also home to Indian River State College, which ranks in the top 10 Public Regional Colleges in the South (US News, 2013.) as well as the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institue (Florida Atlantic University.)
 
The Treasure Coast, also known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World" boasts some of the best fishing - both fresh and salt water - in the world! The Treasure Coast is also proud to offer over 50 golf courses including PGA Village. Whether its miles of pristine beach or miles of nature preserves you desire, we have it all!
